Youth academy
According to a study conducted by the Guggenheim Museum*, students exposed to an art education developed greater cooperative decision-making, leadership, communication and complex problem solving skills. This study, along with various other similar research programs, is a part of the motivation which led the Subject Matter Experts (SME) to establish The SME Academy.
The mission of the SME Academy is to aid young men (grades 4-12) in realizing their full potential through exposure of visual arts, music, film, architecture, fashion, etiquette and more-making each student a well-rounded individual. Through engaging dialogue, informative sessions and a collaborative curriculum, the SME Academy partners with other non-profit organizations, entrepreneurial companies and individuals to achieve success for our youth.
